Simone Dee has performed in West end theatre London and “off” Broadway shows plus performing with artist such as Paul Mac and Marcia Hines, and also regular television guest performances. With over 16 years of teaching experience, her students have included Nicki Webster, S2S as well as many of the Sydney’s top teachers and performers. As a live performer and vocalist Simone has worked with the finest musicians in the Country.

Deanne has trained as a dancer and vocalist at Conroy Dance Centre and Brent Street Studios. Her stage experience includes performances as part of the Paul Mac Experience Tour; Masterpiece for Eventful Special Events; at Australia’s Wonderland; in Warner Bros and Cartoon Network shows for Millennium Entertainment. Dee has performed with Paul Mac Live on Rove Live, 1000ft High and Good News Week. Deanne brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Groove Street team.

As a founding member of Groove Street, Dom Calefati brings a wealth of experience as an accomplished Guitarist and musician. Dom is renowned and highly regarded as a professional Guitarist having performed with Top studio and live bands around the Sydney music scene.

As a vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist, John brings years of experience and musicianship to Groove Street. With a unique vocal style and great harmonies Johns great performances make him a valuable member of the Groove Street team.

Guy Saminaden needs no introduction, having accomplished so much as a Bass player and vocalist in the Sydney music scene. Being the driving force behind the hugely successful band Torrid Zone for over 20 years, Guy brings his professional and unique style to the Groove Street team complementing his brilliant vocal ability.

Ralph has over 20 years experience as a drummer playing with the finest musicians in Sydney. He has filled in for some of the best studio and live bands in Sydney and was a co-founder of Groove Street in 2003.

The band will perform 3 x 45 minute sets. Place these sets anywhere you wish in your running schedule. It's recommended to use 1 set as a dinner set, followed by 2 dance sets.

For weddings, the band will also perform a live bridal dance. Should this song not be on their song list, they will learn it for you once approved.

Should you not have a DJ at your event, the band will provide all your recorded music via Ipod when they are not performing. You may also supply your own Ipod with your own play lists if you wish.

For weddings, sound and lighting production is supplied. This is included in your fee. For corporate events, this may depend on the venue.

WOW!!! I just want to thank Groove Street for being so awesome, they are amazing performers that would give the likes of any of the bands they cover a run for their money! I booked this band on a whim and was so impressed! This was a major corporate event for us and it was important that our entertainment be a class act and they went above and beyond the call of duty, even doing some latin for our very talented Tango guests to perform to! We had such a wonderful night and Groove Street certainly added to it. Each of our guest commented on how great the band was. I would hold no hesitation in recommending Groove Street for your next event, they were a great group both performance wise and on a professional level, dealing with them was a breeze and I will definitely be booking them again! Thanks so much Groove Street for making our wedding the most amazing day we could have ever imagined. Although our guests were small in number, you still managed to get every single one on the dance floor with the perfect mix of music you played. The mix of songs was perfect and I can honestly say that you blew us away.
