Sole Sonic is a new versatile Sydney based cover and party band that caters for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
This 5-6 piece outfit consist with Sydney’s Best session vocalists with an amazing backing band.
You can choose your vocalist and hand pick the band. We will cater for your needs.
Their experience combined have seen them rubbing shoulders with some of the leading acts in the country while also having entertained at major corporate events, weddings and cruise ships.
With a song list that caters for all ages, including jazz, classic and contemporary R&B, pop, and dance, you can be assured of a full dance floor at all times.
When considering a party cover band for your wedding entertainment, corporate entertainment, or private party entertainment, it will certainly be hard to go past these guys.
The band will perform 3 x 45 minute sets. Place these sets anywhere you wish in your running schedule. It’s recommended to use 1 set as a dinner set, followed by 2 dance sets.
For weddings, the band will also perform a live bridal dance. Should this song not be on their song list, they will learn it for you once approved.
Should you not have a DJ at your event, the band will provide all your recorded music via Ipod when they are not performing. You may also supply your own Ipod with your own play lists if you wish.
For weddings, sound and lighting production is supplied including an operator. This is included in your fee. For corporate events, this may depend on the venue. Vocals – Grace – Grace was born in New Zealand, with a Tongan/Niuean background. She moved to Sydney in 1991 coming from a family of 5 siblings being the middle child! Like many young Polynesians, Grace grew up listening to traditional Pacific Island music and enriched her island music heritage with pop, R&B, dance and other contemporary sounds. She’s inspired mostly by her family, friends and the musicians that surround her life with the sweet sounds of soul. Grace began her singing career at the young age of 13, and after leaving school in 1999 moved into full time work as a recording and performing artist. Vocals – Leina Mahe – With music and singing being a big part of her Polynesian background, learning how to play musical instruments at the early age of 9 came naturally to Leina. She later went on and formed the band Elicit Vibe, with her 5 siblings performing at clubs and other venues around the local music scene for 7 years. Formerly the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the family band, she developed a unique vocal sound with the ability to rock different genres. Leina’s loves performing and despite previously being in a band for 7 years, she’s just getting started! Vocals – Mike Champion – R&B/Soul Crooner Mike Champion, is a true reflection of dedication and perseverance. For close to a decade he has remained at the forefront of the underground urban music scene in Australia. Ten years in the making, he is set to release his debut album entitled “YOUNG BOY OLD SOUL” to the world. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Marvin Gaye, D’Angelo, Musiq Soulchild & Maxwell, Mike Champion oozes an envious yet humble charm and charisma his fellow musicians admire. With boyish good looks, a poetic mind and a voice to dim the lights, Mike Champion is undoubtedly a natural-born superstar. Vocals – Cheyenne – A seasoned performer with a powerful vocal range and a velvet tone that lends itself to some the greatest – Stevie Wonder, Prince, Al Green, Donny Hathaway and Michael Jackson; artists who have influenced his life and inspired his tireless commitment to every performance. He has shared the stage with the likes of Darren Percival aka “Mr Percival” (The Voice Australia), Prinnie Stevens (The Voice Australia), Carmen Smith (The Voice Australia), Angie Narayan (Australian Idol), Vince Harder (X Factor) and Paulini (Australian Idol, Young Divas).
Cheyenne has a vibrant performance style. Not only a vocalist of the highest caliber but a natural born entertainer, and the highlight of many events around the country year round. Working as a session singer in Sydney, he is currently writing and recording an EP for release in 2013. Vocals – Era Tuakalau – A definite favourite with R&B lovers. Singing from the age of 7, Era has developed a unique style and reputation built through public following and his amazing vocal talents. His guitar playing and vocal abilities are second to none. Era is a crowed pleaser and entertainer. He has worked with many bands and experienced the live seen for many years, but one thing he holds tight is working with a crowd. Singing all the old school hits and playing guitar at the same time is amazing to watch. Vocals – Rob – Rob has been in the music industry for 15 years and has performed alongside some of the worlds biggest entertainers. Rob plays Keyboards, Bass, and Guitar. His early childhood raised in Auckland, N.Z and has spent most of his time in Sydney. Rob grew up listening to Soul, R&B, and Acid Jazz, which has shaped his own style. Influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Marvin Gaye to name a few, has moulded Rob into the artist he is today. Click here to see Rob Live on The Voice.
